The goal is not to methylate everything. It is to keep balanced flow between folate, B12, methionine, SAMe, SAH, homocysteine, BHMT, CBS and glutathione. A normal HCY is important but does not show the whole cycle. Real balance depends on genetics, cofactors, labs, oxidative stress, renal/thyroid function, diet, medications and clinical context.
